If it is that one it's a good size for a holiday cage! And would be a good starter cage for a dwarf hamster, but you would need to be prepared to need to upgrade for a bigger one. I would keep it as a play cage/holiday cage. Or - if it is from pets at home - take it back for a refund when your new cage comes
Some members have done this saying it's not big enough/suitable for their hamster, even after it has been used. That would help towards the cost of a new one.
