I'd agree, honey for rabbits at least is no good. Honey is something I'd only offer (if ever) to a Syrian or robo, and only
very rarely. It's sweet and sticky, and there are other good treats out there. To answer the question in general though, hamsters can eat treats marketed for (almost) any animal granted they contain hamster safe ingredients and no unsafe preservatives or additives
