I know the tails can be creepy to some people,but even if they did feel like reptile skin that's not too bad!The best way I can explain that however is that reptiles feel like a nice smooth leather,definitely not slimy or too rough
I'd think rat and mice tails are at least a little different though,as they technically have hair on them.
