Actually I'm not keen on little hooks personally - I've seen ramps held on by hooks and eyes and it leaves a gap/place for a foot to get caught I think - or in the hook itself. Ramps are a pain - I use the cork logs as a ramp but it depends how high the shelf is I guess.
