It is a great playpen and was definitely worth it! Where the side pieces slot together looks like a bit could break off quite easily but it's fine if left up. And I'm sure easily fixed if it did break off. It doesn't look too bad left up either
It's right in front of his cage and when he wakes up at night he comes straight to the door and hops into the ball knowing he's going in the playpen
Incidentally Newtie is eating his chicken off a vintage Wedgwood "Summer Sky" plate lol! I bought a set on ebay as it's the set my parents had when they got married - and they've just had their diamond wedding anniversary!
