Keep in mind that wood based substrate, while cheap, can cause other problems and really doesn't work well with burrowing animals(it doesn't tend to hold burrows well,is generally quite rough compared to superior substrates such as Fitch, etc)and also often causes allergic reactions(these are rarely seen right away,in fact constant exposure over time is much more likely to cause an allergy to be formed and even then allergies can be difficult to spot as the signs aren't always incredibly obvious and can come in the form of things that may seem normal such as frequent paw licking, however no paper substrate can cause an allergic reaction).

Also it looks like you have a hanging bridge type toy, which at least the hanging fixture would be unsafe on.There should never be any open runged ladders, chains, rings or hooks that can cause toe injury(these are often just as dangerous as chain and must be avoided for safety reasons),fabric, plastic other than wheels(at the very least no plastic item including those with slits or holes will ever have adequate ventilation due to the properties of plastic causing moisture to build up and thus creating a respiratory problem for animals with delicate respiratory systems),or anything with unsafe materials or ingredients in general(although ingredients are a lot harder to list and go into detail on,however at the very least avoiding any artificially or unspecified dyed items or things with artificial or unspecified flavorings along with biproducts/digest/meat and bone meals of any sort that are unspecified which are automatically to be considered unsafe and unspecified preservatives especially in the UK where E&C approved is pointless since it is a loophole to use BHA/BHT/ethoxyquin in treats and such without saying so even though these preservatives are known to cause cancer),etc.
