Wow, love the setup! I don't use fitch myself, because it would tangle in Mushu's long fur, but I would use fitch if he was a short haired ham. When I was researching fitch, it did seem that the 20kg pack would work out much cheaper than the equivalent amount of woodchips (which I assume you mean, rather than sawdust, which is not good for hamsters!), or pretty much any other form of substrate. It's your choice what to use, though, so long as you are happy with it
