) Any regular red bulb would work. Some people as SKB use Christmas' lights. Mine is exactly this one

I put it over the lid, but you can place it wherever you want. The package of this one includes a rail and screws to be able to attach it to wood, but I'm not using them, I just placed it over the frame of the lid. I suppose that if you put the light far away they'll notice it less, but you'll see less too.
