National Geographic hamster food isn't really appropriate for any hamster
The protein is way too low,the fiber is far too high,and it contains at least one ingredient with questionable at best safety.Burgess is much better of a choice
In the US the only diabetes prone hamster food choice is Burgess.Higgins is not a choice due to the high sugar content,but Burgess on its own is perfectly fine and is really the best possible choice.Stick to Burgess only,there's no need to mix foods and it can end very badly if done wrong
