Ok thank you everybody
Last night one of the hams (couldn't tell which one) came over and sniffed my hand and then stood up on it! I have renewed patience and I'm not going to give up no matter how long it takes. I understand all hamsters aren't cuddly, especially robos, my goal is to build trust between us so that the hamsters aren't so scared of me. They have mostly stopped fleeing when I put my hand in the cage and they are more comfortable to walk by my arm rather than cautiously avoiding it.
