His eyes are dark dark black
I know, it is hard to tell, right? It may look like it in the pictures, but he doesn’t have a band. I have had a cream banded hamster before and he is nothing like that. Mushu is some shade of browny grey all over but it is darker on his head and shoulders, getting lighter gradually as you go down his body but never becoming white. It is odd how pictures cannot quite capture what he looks like.
