My roborovski hamster, Fairy is a sweet girl who likes to explore her cage and gather her food. She will stay out and about whilst I talk to her but is not keen on hands anywhere near her.

My female syrian, Kashi loves to be fed through the bars and to have lots of cardboard bags and boxes with food hidden inside to chew. She bites and doesnt like to be handled. She also tries to get out of any play pens and doesnt seem to enjoy them at all.

Gopal, my chocolate syrian male likes to sit and watch the world go by. He will gladly go into his play box and allows the odd strokie but doesnt really enjoy them.

Arun, my fluffy cream syrian adores playbox time. He will leap into his transport box and allows strokies when in there but gets too busy once in the playbox.

Your hamster sounds like a real character. It must be lovely to have cuddles with him.
