As others said, it's fairly easy to potty train your hamster with a corner tray and some chinchilla sand. There are plenty of tutorials, but you only need to grab some (or a lot of) peed substrate and put it in the tray over the sand, they catch the drill soon. It's better if you put the tray in the same place where they peeing regularly. There are some that just want to pee wherever they want, but it's worth a try because if you train them it's easier to clean their cage.
