I'm so sorry you've had such a scare! I'd take him out and give him a full health check to ensure all is well perhaps sharing a video with us could allow us to help you assess his health
I personally would also recommend taking him on a trip to the vet to ensure he's okay as things like this can be indicative of larger problems developing. Hope he feels better soon!
