It's generally agreed that vit drops in water/foods aren't necessary (unless of course a vet or experienced breeder recommended otherwise) to have if you're feeding a good healthy diet. Rats get most vitamins from their food as well as fresh fruits and vegetables so they would do just fine without it. As for the diet they're on currently, I unfortunately can't help any further! I love rats and research quite a bit, but overall I only have a general dietary knowledge. As long as their protein isn't too high and they have both a seed and lab block diet as well as fresh fruits and veggies, they should be just fine on that diet
