I've found Russian hybrids to mostly be quick to come to me & take treats soon comfortably sitting on my hand, you don't have to stick to a schedule or plan, just go at your own hams pace, don't rush things but don't hold back if your ham is keen either.

If you got your ham from a pet shop rather than a breeder then your ham will be a Russian hybrid, if that's the case take care over diet & avoid sugars or fruit as they are prone to diabetes, if he's a pure WW from a breeder then no need to worry.
