Re: Review: Little Friends Grosvenor Rat and Hamster Cage
Totally agree with the OP, mentions all the points I would say about this cage.
I've only had my latest Syrian hamster for a few weeks and with my old hamster having had a wire cage, I thought I'd try something different with the Habitrail.
The Habitrail turned out to be a complete nightmare, and even with an add-on pod and extra tunnels it wasn't big enough for a young and active hamster. The water bottle leaked and my hamster actually got stuck trying to drink from it.
I got this cage instead and I love it! There's so much more space for Bilbo to run around, he loves eating on the plinth and the dark area underneath it is good when he's nervous. Add-ons were rubbish as OP mentioned but there's loads of room to customise it - my cage now has a cool bridge, a see-saw and a chewable garden bench!
Habitrail is going in the bin for eternity. This cage is amazing.
