Thank you all
Artie seems to have settled a bit, he's still a busy boy and loving his wheels. I've had him out in the playpen for 5-10mins each day letting him have an explore and a hunt for sunflower seeds. He's still quite bitey if you put your hand in the cage so I need to get him out using a cardboard tube or his mug. We've still not moved him to the hamster room yet but hopefully will this weekend. To be honest we're more bothered about it upsetting Jaska (he finally seems to be coming out his shell but I'll save that for Jaska's thread) than anything else as they will be neighbours!
