I'd just like to introduce Perseus (Percy)!

I've had him almost 2 months now. I'm pretty sure the little guy is a DCRH ( would be amazing if any Hamster Experts could confirm this).

I found the little guy in the Rescue section of my local petstore. I was pretty on the fence about getting him at first as I know not every animal in this section is a 'real' rescue. The store worker said that Percy had in fact been in the same litter as the other Dwarf Hamsters currently up for adoption but his siblings had tried to eat him!( Not an uncommon story I expect). After a few weeks of treatment, the little guy was looking for a new home.

Now he lives with me! His Favourite thing to do is run on his flying saucer or the wheels in his playpen. His favourite food is banana chips or carrot. His favourite toy is his tunnels and during playtime, he likes to climb on and then roll around on his tubes.

I'm midway through taming him after some not so great advice. I'm following the taming steps used in Hoppinghammy and Erinshamsters videos.
