I had a campbells that kept having strokes but seemed to recover afterward... and keep going on. although one side of her legs was not quite so synchronized with the other so was quite wobbly when she walked. she would still do normal things except run in the wheel which i took out for safety... one morning i woke up to find her dead by her food bowl with food still wedged in her teeth...I have learnt hamsters can either go unexpectedly with nothing seemingly wrong, or fight on despite all odds.
