He is such a beautiful little man, I have a real soft spot for black Russians!
I'm glad to hear you're making some progress with him now, it must seem really slow compared to Boris & Pasha but it does sound as though his confidence will gradually increase.
Lucky man having one of those tubes, mine have always loved them too.
I've never had a ham not use the wheel although plenty use them as food bowls or dining tables! so not sure what that's about tbh.
