Maybe get a few of the largest Samla bins and set up a pair connected directly for now?That would be a cheap somewhat quick fix,and they would not take up a ton of space since you can get bins to add to the system you start that can be angled and placed in a way that adds space but works for what space you have instead of something like a Detolf which can only be one direction and is a wonderful length but is not the best width for a larger hamster.Even if a Detolf was expanded it would be hard to fit,but with bins you don't have that same issue!
