Hmm - it might hurt her. You mean if there's another hole nearby you might be able to push her along to it a bit by putting something in the first hole? I'm not so sure about that. Has she stayed in the same place all along? ie she can't get further up into the wall can she? If not then maybe waiting it out till morning and see if she's in the bucket trap. Hard to know without seeing.
