Our chinese hamster Mario recently passed away. I've kept Syrian hamsters most of my life. This was my first Chinese. After this experience, I can say I don't think I'd ever want a breed other than the Chinese. Mario was so kind and loving. He just loved to lay in your palm and be loved. I've been looking for another chinese hamster but can't seem to find them anywhere!!! Maybe it's because of Christmas and people are buying them as gifts. But I'm getting nervous that I may not find one.
