I am missing having a Syrian hamster very much at the moment
Leonard passed away a week before his third birthday earlier this year and I also lost Valentine my robo a few weeks ago and am missing the hamster presence in my bedroom so would love to take care of another one, preferably a Syrian as I gave my robo suitable cage away.
I've been keeping an eye out at the local RSPCA's and small animal rescues and they rarely have hammies in I've been told. I can't drive so that limits my options. Does anyone know of any rescues on here? I don't want to buy one from a pet shop although feel sorry for the hammies I'd rather not support it, but would apply for one from a reputable breeder if anyone has any litters planned? I appreciate coming up to Christmas people are likely not to be breeding to avoid those being bought as 'gifts', I'm happy to wait for a hammie who needs a loving home
