Great advice from Cypher.
I've found the wrapping treats in toilet paper makes it more interesting for the hamster and having some extra hidey places works too.
I got Harvey a flower pot from the pound shop when he got fed up with his coconut and I also got him a crinkle den & tube. I swap the den & tube about.
