Gonna post this here as well just for reference. This wheel is all I could get my hands on. I CAN NOT BUY ANOTHER WHEEL!
It's impossible to find hamster supplies where I live and I was lucky to find this cheap online.
Also I'm 16 I can't afford to buy a new hamster wheel that may cost me €40 every month which is how it has been for the last while.
Just wanted to know if I could use it open or not.
I'll try putting lemon juice on it to deter her from chewing it for a while
