Something I've discovered is that you can use the cardboard sleeves that starbucks use on their takeaway cups to protect you from the heat to make a short (or long if you go to starbucks a lot) but wide tubes. My syrian seems to like it but he's new so still a bit shy sometimes. He also has fun taking them apart and making a series of very short tunnels.
