I never used cleaning sprays of any kind. Warm water and kitchen towel is all you need for wiping down shelves or around the cage and washing your hands with plain unscented or lemon soap!
There are many small animal products sold and many are not necessary unless of course a hamster has diagnosed wet tail or other infection. But even then, I would probably ask my vet for Virkon or something more reliable if that was the case.
It`s always good to be vigilant when you have any infection though. x
