If you are from the USA , take advantage of Petco's Dollar per Gallon sales on tanks ! (in store only I believe) but you can get a nice 20 gallon tank, for only 20 dollars. you'll have to buy a mesh lid separately or DIY one, there are lots of tutorials on youtube.
I myself have a 40 gallon All Living Things Terrarium from Petsmart, I got it for 99 dollars ... pricey but amazing. It came with a locking mesh lid that has a small locking door in it so you can place food in and such without taking the whole lid off. In my opinion, bigger is always better when it comes to small pets. I had to save up a bit , but it's worth it.
