Higgins Vita Garden itself does not have molasses in the ingredients. However,Mazuri does.Since Mazuri is what really boosts the protein and makes it even more suitable,Burgess would be the much easier option in this case and also the most suitable solution.

Or,the ingredients here as well:
White Millet, Wheat, Red Milo, Oats, Corn, Flaked Beans, Flaked Peas, Sunflower Seeds, Peanuts, Yellow Peas, Timothy Hay, Sun-Cured Alfalfa Hay, Soybean Hulls, Soybean Meal, Dried Beet Pulp (sugar removed), Dicalcium Phosphate, Flaxseed, Lignin Sulfonate, Salt, Soybean Oil, Algae Meal, Hemicellulose Extract, DL-Methionine, L-Lysine, Choline Chloride, Mixed Tocopherols (preservative), Potassium Chloride, Vitamin A Supplement, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Vitamin E Supplement, Zinc Sulfate, Ferrous Sulfate, Niacin, Folic Acid, Biotin, Manganese Sulfate, Copper Sulfate, Calcium Pantothenate, Thiamine Mononitrate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Riboflavin Supplement, Zinc Proteinate, Manganese Proteinate, Copper Proteinate, Calcium Iodate, Yucca Schidigera Extract, Sodium Selenite, Cobalt Carbonate, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Dried Enterococcus Faecium Fermentation Product, Dried Lactobacillus Acidophilus Fermentation Product, Dried Lactobacillus Casei Fermentation Product.

There is no added sugar in this food, but there will always be natural sugar in every single food out there due to photosynthesis. It is absolutely impossible to entirely remove sugar from diets, however I do personally prefer avoiding artificial sweeteners and artificial ingredients in general.

I wouldn't say VitaNature is necessarily diabetes approved,as it contains fruit which if given every single day could produce too much sugar. It also doesn't have enough protein to be suitable on its own, which makes it inferior to Burgess.

Burgess would be the easiest option of all, since you only need Burgess and no extra foods for protein. You can definitely add more foods as treats for extra variety though!
