I found this edible paint made with soya but I don't know if it's hamster-edible. (Edit: I am too new and untrustworthy to post links, but the product is called "Colour Splash Edible Paint Matt White" and is sold by The Craft Company.) Does anyone know if it's safe for hams? The ingredients are as follows:

Water; humectant: glycerine E422; stabiliser: gum arabic E414; colour: titanium dioxide E171; emulsifier: soya lecithin E322; thickener: acetylated di-starch adipate E1422; acidity regulator: citric acid E330; preservative: potassium sorbate E202.
Yeah, all I managed to get was a sort of beige colour. It's a shame there are so few pet safe paints.
I'd be worried about the citric acid in the Colour Splash paint, but thanks anyway
