I use second hand mugs, teapots etc. I used to have a whole stack of real marble tiles for the hams and I wouldn't recommend them. Pee soaks into real marble.... eeeeew! Good old ceramic crockery is great. If it gets too manky it just goes on a hot wash in the dishwasher and comes out right as rain
Raid the charity shops!
