I have a dwarf and he's up in the day a fair bit. He wakes when we get up in the morning and I do his food then (6-6.30ish) , he fills pouches then disappears for a while, then usually gets up around lunchtime ish. Today my son and I got him out to play around 2.30pm and he was quite lively then. He then sleeps on and off and comes out later in the evening, or some days he'll come out around tea time.
He likes to sleep on top of the substrate in the day so when my kids come home from school/nursery he often wakes and noses around. When he wants a long sleep he'll go in his nest/ .
Saying that, he has days when he'll seem to sleep all day so its very varied! Funnily he seems to like sleeping out of his nest when we're around and making noise.
