Chances are real high that they'll fight even with months of being together. Heard females do better & make sure they are from the same litter. Pet Co & Pet Smart combine litters so they can't say for sure if the are the same litter or not

Then you would need a proper sized tank or cage. Not sure what the minimum is for a pair? Then you would need 2 of everything including a spare cage if they start fighting at night when pet shops are closed.
