That sounds good! I'm sure he'll love his new bin cage. Some coconut shells can be a bit scratchy inside anyway. Our hammy has a large house that is dark inside and he makes his own round ball of a nest, so no need to find anything specially
Just give him lots of torn up strips of plain white toilet paper and he'll make something out of it. Charlie once made the most beautiful ball shaped nest out of strips of paper - it looked all woven - and a hole in the middle he used to go in and snuggle up inside!
