They might fall off,plus the flying saucer wheels bring the added issue of being an unnatural design that causes side arching which is not exactly ideal.You want an upright wheel that is the right size for your species though,like the Wodent Wheel or Silent Runner and size depends entirely on species and the size of an individual hamster but it is certainly better to have an upright wheel that is actually appropriate.
