I have only ever had one Syrian from Pets at Home. She hissed all the way home and once she settled, she was the friendliest and sweetest hamster I have ever known. When she was poorly, she was well known at the vets and they all loved her and her sweet personality. I have never seen a hamster that loved cuddles so much! In the future I will be getting my hamsters from a local rescue I discovered after Lexi passed. Te main reason for this being that they need a more urgent home than those in pet shops.
