In the shop they tend to be like that probably through lack of stimulation, space and appropriate wheels (they always seen to have small flying saucers). However I have had 2 Syrians from there, my bella was very confident and friendly and nutmeg so far is showing a lot of curiosity and friendliness
of course can't say this for all but this is my experience.
