Default Re: Over breeding - true or false?

Yes Piebald his only owner bugged and bugged me and I really was so unsure of the little fella being able to survive the long, long drive, But I told her if he was still healthy by 2 months old that I would let her have him. The reason he was so small was because the Mom was never allowed to rest between litters and had pups suckling, and pups growing in the womb every 21 days for five straight litters. Her whole body was worn down and so she lacked enough things in her body to help embryos in the womb gain all the nutrition and vitally important things for the embryo to properly develop and grow. His bigger sister was actually 1/2 the size of a normal Mostly Campbell dwarf herself, but was just a normal hybrid on the smaller side of the size scale where Quark was a dwarfed Dwarf hamster. The gal who took Quark also bought a Syrian from my Shreynan litter talked about in my Month of March Photo thread. The surgery for Quark was over $900.00 as it was done by a Mouse specialist Vet. Quark was dosed with the gas and anesthesia as if he were a 8 week old mouse pup. His owner said she would mortgage the house to save little Quarky.

This was Quark just after his 2nd Birthday
