I would get Harry Hamster to start your hammy with - a change of diet afterwards can be tricky, and agree with Cypher that it needs to be species specific. Personally I don't use dog biscuits at all. Charlie has the antos dog chews occasionally and the rosewood naturals chew sticks have wood in the centre. I tend to get the Harry Hamster from Amazon from one of the other sellers (link showing them below). Which means yes the old bag is just a photo because different sellers will have different bags in stock. Equestrian Performance are a good seller - it's £4.55 including postage from them and I think they tend to sell the newer bags. Even if it's the old packaging it will be in date
My last few bags have been from the Online garden centre (page after) but they seem to be more expensive at the moment.
