Some boards require moderator approval for every post ie Rescue boards.
It depends on how much time the moderators have to work on the boards as to how long it takes to get approval for some posts. We all do this in our own time and real life gets in the way sometimes.
I have checked your profile and it looks normal so approval should only be needed on certain boards as I mentioned.
