Our vets consultation fee is £15 + medication price on top, if needed. Our vets are actually pretty good with the hamsters. I think that all of my hamsters, apart from Winnie have been to the vets at least once. Bella has been to the vets twice last week and she is going again on Monday, so that plus Baytril is about £55.

Taking a hamster to the vets is expensive, but if you find a vet that you trust and that understand hamsters it is worth it, (quite a few vets have not a lot of experience with hamsters and mainly treat cats and dogs).
