Oh god, I'm hoping that doesn't happen to me. If it does maybe I'll call her Stacey lol

The way I found out is I was ticking her one day and as I went toward her bottom she stuck her tail up and er.. presented herself.. later I posted photos of her from underneath in a glass jar and the lovely folk here helped me discover he was a she.. luckily I chose a gender neutral name!
When looking at hamsters on Google after that I realised that he (Actually I think he was Gareth not Gary? it was a while ago now haha!) maybe hadn't been taught how to gender properly.. Female Syrian hammys seem to have nipples on show or fur fleking out where they are under the fur and a sort of dip under the tail.. and male hammys have a round bottom and HUGGGEEE manly juggling balls if they're warm and relaxed! I don't know how he missed the absence of man parts to be honest :')
