The one time I came home smelling like dog my previous ham wasn't right for ages, she froze for almost an hour and wouldn't come near me for at least 2 days. It was two very very smelly spaniels! Dog smell can be a big deal.

I also have Ceecee home at my mums for the holidays and I just completely left her alone for maybe 36 hours as if she was almost new which seemed to help since she was v nervous at first. She was dying to get out tonight though and was v settled and friendly even with my mum who she has never met before.
