I prefer having the 2 also, I used to wash my hands in between hamsters but like skeever has said, the hamsters know each others smells.
I 'm entertained more with their antics. Archie is slowing down a bit cause he's 19 months but twinkle is one crazy diva - she's only 4 months but I think she's going for the fastest hamster record with her flying saucer.
