Using a heated knife or tool will make the cuts smoother, but be warned that melting plastic can release toxic fumes so you'll want to do it in a well-ventilated area, and maybe use a chemical mask too
You shouldn't have too much trouble if you use a fine-toothed saw blade and don't push into the cut.
