Summary/description of operation:Here at Rawnsley Rodent Rescue (a small home based rescue, in Staffordshire) our aim is to take in rodents in need of a new home, we currently take in any type of hamster or mice and on occasion consider other rodents. Whether the reason for re-homing is due to financial issues, lack of time or the rodent is unwanted. We can take in rodents from any area although pick up is only available in surrounding areas. When we take on your pet they will have a full assessment to see whether they are ready for adoption or need time for rehabilitation. Once it is decided that the rodent is ready for adoption will we decide on the type of home and owner they will be suitable for. The applicants that do apply will have been pre-assessed to ensure they can care for the rodent that they have been matched with. We are a non profit organization run completely on our own funds so any donations of cages, feed, accessories will be greatly appreciated. Please contact us to see if we have any space to re-home your rodent or if you are interested in re-homing one of our rescue rodents.
