i use either aubiose or megazorb, i mainly use megazorb though as we tend to have more to hand since we stopped stocking aubiose due to the size
its a very good bedding though, i find that some batches of megazorb can have a distinct smell to them but you do get used to it, i also have to use wood bassed cat litter for one of my chinese boys due to a prolapsed penis, if kept on any thing else it tends to get stuck to it
and cause him discomfort
i used to use wood shavings years ago and found them ok, i have also used shavings mixed with megazorb which combatted megazorbs own distinct smell, i wouldnt use shavings again by choice unless i was forced to, not when theres so many better products out there.
also sawdust should NEVER be used as it is much to fine nd well dusty and can cause respitory problems.
