I have seen too many times a hamster being brought into the family for younger family member and when it gets sick its "ooh we can't afford the vet bill" . You posted recently about Pumpkin chipping a tooth and your parents wouldn't take her to a vet if needed. Please consider this before bringing another hammie home. As the hamster gets old vet trips may be unavoidable. Have a chat with your parents and can are they willing to pay for vet if the hamster gets sick.
